About Black Mamba
Black Mamba at Phantasialand is a Bolliger and Mabillard inverted coaster opened in 2006 in the Deep in Africa area. The layout sits below ground level for much of its length, weaving through carved canyons and theming structures with frequent near-miss elements. Four inversions, top speed 80 km/h, ride duration about 90 seconds.
Black Mamba is regularly rated among the most aesthetically integrated coasters in Europe - the theming is visible from inside the train as well as from outside. Queues run 30-60 minutes on busy days. Located in the Deep in Africa area; the queue line is one of the most heavily themed at the park.
